We all earn certificates and awards throughout our lives. Some of mine were earned on the web, and I try to keep track of those here.
This area provides some supporting documentation for my LinkedIn profile.

- Credly by Pearson badges
- this began as badges earned and awarded while working for Ericsson. But other Open Badges can be recorded here as well.
Significant Ericsson badges:
- Continuous Improvement certificates
- earned and awarded while working for Ericsson.
- Skillsoft by Percipio badges
A red-edged circular shield indicates an individual course that was successfully taken and passed. Multiple courses can be undertaken to complete a track: the orange-edged shield. Multiple tracks can be undertaken to complete an Aspire journey: the yellow-edged shield.
My completed journeys:
- IT Masters certificates
- On taking a security role I needed to demonstrate some expertise, and these certificates awarded by Charles Sturt University were useful in that.
- Cyber Wardens
- At the introductory end of things.
- Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT)
- Taken for NBN.
- New South Wales government certificates
- Free microskill certificates across a range of topics.
- Queensland TAFE
- Badges earned are Open Badges compatible, and can be loaded into e.g. Credly. Which is good, because otherwise they're only collectively visible when I'm logged in.
- Microsoft badges
- Multiple badges can be taken to complete a trophy.
Completed trophies:
- Ericsson Innovation Mentor
-
for providing advice to student teams.
- IEEE
- I'm an Ethics Champion!
- My Cybrary certificate
- I was given this for learning how Cybrary worked. Cybrary is very commercial and pay-for-play; I've not used it since.
